A vibrant site - message from valantic CEC Schweiz AG
Site plan “sg west”
“sg west” houses various labour-intensive companies with a high added value and is currently part of the joint developing planning project St.Gallen West – Gossau Ost (ASGO), comprising the cities of St.Gallen and Gossau, the municipality of Gaiserwald, as well as the canton of St.Gallen and the local business associations. Commerce and industry can use the attractive construction land as provided by St.Gallen.
Excellent transport connections - a well connected site
“sg west” offers excellent motorised and public transport connections, such as direct access to the A1 motorway, the proximity to St.Gallen Winkeln railway station, as well as frequent connections with direct bus stops on site.
An area for working and living – a vibrant site
“sg west” offers refined shopping and leisure facilities, such as the Shopping Arena, the largest shopping centre in Eastern Switzerland with 60 shops, the Kybunpark, home stadium of St.Gallen FC, and the Westcenter, all of which add tremendous attraction to this already vibrant site, apart from its already best-in-class economic conditions. Local recreational areas within walking distance, such as the idyllic Bildweiher and the Gübensee, are perfect spots for relaxing and exercising.
Trend-setting development - a site with a clear vision
St.Gallen West – Gossau Ost is a Category One economic priority area, according to the cantonal structure map. The site offers already perfect conditions for local businesses and has great potential. Such a priority area is regarded as the backbone of the canton’s economic development. The ASGO* consortium has joined forces to promote development planning, and thus to strengthen St.Gallen West – Gossau Ost as a residential and working area in the long term and make it fit for the future. The project has received broad political and economic acceptance which itself is a strong testament to the communal development.
* Consortium: city of St.Gallen, city of Gossau, municipality of Gaiserwald, canton of St.Gallen and local business associations.
